Otto Campion editing the video which formed part of his presentation on “Landscape, fire and people” at the 2021 North Australia Savanna Fire Forum this week in Darwin. Otto said the Forum, which was hosted by the Indigenous Carbon Industry Network, provided a good opportunity to talk about fire stories and new technologies.
“We can use those mapping programs and satellite images from last year to see how our country looks and make decisions about the right time to burn”, he said. “It’s also good to look back at the videos we made last year and use them for planning.”
