Biosecurity Fee-for-Service
The security of Australia’s agriculture, natural resources and ecosystems from overseas pests and diseases is achieved through constant monitoring and vigilance. Australia’s northern coastline is a likely entry point for such pests and diseases given its proximity to south-east Asia.
ASRAC rangers have been contracted by the Australian Government’s Department of Agriculture, Water, and the Environment to undertake regular monitoring and surveys across our management area. Information collected by rangers is sent back to the Commonwealth for evaluation and is crucial for ensuring that Australia remains pest and disease free.
