Yolngu Seasons
Our region comprises six seasons as displayed on the calendar:
- Gunmul
- Mayaltha
- Miḏawarr
- Dharratharra
- Rarranhdharr
- Dhuluḏur
The role of the Yolŋu Seasons Calendar is to visually demonstrate changes to the landscape across these seasons and correlations to the availability of bush tucker throughout the year.
